Meal
The experience includes a guided tour of the cellars and lunch or dinner at our restaurant, La Corte Chiusa. The proposed menu is entirely based on typical Piedmontese cuisine, with a predominant use of ingredients produced by local farms. The price includes three appetizers, two main courses, and a dessert. During the meal, four of our wines are presented for tasting with a technical explanation provided to the client. This experience is an excellent way to combine wine tasting with a delicious meal based on typical local cuisine.

The winemaking history of Monferrato and that of the historic Cantine dei Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta in Rocchetta Tanaro, Piedmont, are closely linked and fascinating. In fact, the Incisa family, resident in the heart of Monferrato for about a thousand years, has been dedicated for generations to the production of wines of the highest quality in the small town of Rocchetta Tanaro and has had characters who have created the history of these lands. The Cantine Marchesi Incisa are famous for the production of excellent wines: pure refinement with the Barbera d'Asti Superiore (Sant'Emiliano label), an extremely elegant Pinot Noir (Marchese Leopoldo label) and a very important blend of Barbera and Merlot (Colpo d'Ala label). Also highly appreciated are the Grignolino, the Roero Arneis and the Barbera and Pinot Noir blend (Rollone label) as well as the Rosé produced with Barbera and Merlot grapes (Futurosa label). The building of the Cantine dei Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta is unique in its splendor: a true example of rural Piedmontese architecture dating back to 1800 and an ideal place not only for a guided wine tasting but also for spending a weekend or longer periods of relaxation in the hills of Monferrato. Guests are welcomed in 11 luxurious rooms, cared for down to the smallest details and can dine in the La Corte Chiusa restaurant which offers excellent typical local cuisine.
