The La Mondianese agricultural company was born from a precious root: the passion for wine and its culture. These roots are rooted in the land of Ruchè, a very rare vine exclusive to the Monferrato area north of Asti, with a DOC territory made up of only seven municipalities. The La Mondianese winery is surrounded by a single vineyard that covers 7 hectares in the Asti area, here begins the care and tireless pursuit of quality, even before entering the cellar. Our production is approximately 50,000 bt per year. The care of the vineyards is carried out through mechanized and manual treatments. The pruning is severe to favor the quality over the quantity of the grapes and the harvest is rigorously carried out by hand, in the most traditional, humane and selective way which allows only the best bunches to be chosen and delicately arranged in the box. The winemaking cellar was built according to modern winemaking techniques, with horizontal winemakers and stainless steel storage tanks. The aging cellar is buried deep beneath the Monferrato hills and houses wooden barrels of different sizes, Allier barriques and tonneaux. Here La Mondianese wines entrust the passage of time with the seal of the precious "final touch".
