In the Casato Prime Donne cellar, there are fermentation tanks, as well as panels and videos about the history and traditions of Montalcino. In the organic Sangiovese vineyards, there's also a hiking trail that allows you to recharge your batteries while enjoying breathtaking views. Stops include works by contemporary artists and quotes written by great women that inspire reflection. These include Alessandro Grazi's elves, the Modernacolo created for Carla Fendi, and Carlotta Parisi's wheelbarrows. This makes a visit to Casato Prime Donne unlike any other, and the itinerant tasting of Rosso di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino, and Brunello Riserva offers a journey enriched with sensations and emotions. The first two tastings are accompanied by chunks of bread and pecorino cheese of varying ages.

Casato Prime Donne in Montalcino belonged to Donatella Cinelli Colombini's ancestors already at the end of 16th century and during the last hundred years it has been passed from mother to daughter and from the present owner it will go to her daughter Violante. It is the first winery in Italy to be all female staffed. In the cellar one finds barrels, frescoes regarding the history of Montalcino and music.
